There is a mistaken belief that you can simply walk into a store, get measured and a few weeks later a suit arrives from a factory and this is a bespoke tailored suit. However, bespoke suit requires a measure where posture and proportions are carefully noted. The suit is hand cut on site and prepared for the first fitting. The suit panels are then recut according to adjustments required and tried again. The garment is then completed - only after this process of refinement. That is how Payne crafts their suits.
